The second season of the TV anime series Toaru Majutsu no Index (A Certain Magical Index) is once again created by studio J.C. Staff, based on the light novel series written by Kazuma Kamachi and illustrated by Kiyotaka Haimura. The story is set in a futuristic world where supernatural powers exist through science, and magic exists through religion. The second season sees the return of the main characters Index, Mikoto 'BiriBiri' Misaka and what's-his-name... bah, irrelevant.
