The first Love Live! anime project was created by studio Sunrise as part of a "school idol project" bishoujo franchise, and was bundled on DVD with a debut CD single titled Love Live: Bokura no Live Kimi to no Life. The second single, titled Snow Halation, followed just before Christmas 2010. The third single, titled Natsu-iro Egao de 1, 2, Jump!, was released in August 2011. The fourth single, titled Mogyutto "love" de Sekkinchuu!, was released in February 2012.
