Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea (Gake no Ue no Ponyo) is the 2008 animation film directed by Hayao Miyazaki from studio Ghibli. The story is about a 5-year old boy named Sousuke, and his goldfish-like princess Ponyo, who yearns to become human.
