The TV anime series Super Robot Wars OG: The Inspector is adapted by Asahi Production, based on the "Original Generation" series of tactical simulation role-playing games produced by Banpresto (nowadays a division of Namco Bandai), as part of the franchise otherwise known as Super Robot Taisen. The anime's staff includes an all-star team of mecha designers, headed by director Masami Obari. The story is set six months after the DC War against Divine Crusaders and the L5 Conflict between alien Aerogator. The Earth Federation's government needs a top-to-bottom restructuring.
