The TV anime series Demonbane was created by studio View Works, based on a game franchise that began in 2003 with Zanmataisei Demonbane - a PC eroge developed by Nitroplus - and also spawned a 2004 OVA. The story takes place in Arkham City, a megalopolis which achieved immense prosperity from powers of magical skills. But now, Arkham City is being terrified by the dreadful crime organization called the Black Lodge, whose faithful followers spread destruction and confusion throughout the city as they please. The Guardian of Arkham City, the Conqueror's Conglomerate created a robot to defeat the Black Lodge: this Robot was named Demonbane.
