The TV anime series Level E is jointly created by Studio Pierrot and David Production, based on a sci-fi comedy manga written and illustrated by Yoshihiro Togashi (Hunter X Hunter, Yu Yu Hakusho). In the story, the Earth has been "infiltrated" by thousands of aliens, some more violent than others, and some simply conducting research on our planet - whose population is otherwise oblivious to the aliens' presence. Things start to get interesting with the arrival of a new alien - Prince Baka (who, despite his name, is one of the universe's foremost geniuses). After crash-landing on Earth, Baka loses his memory and ends up living with a high school freshman.
