The 2011 TV anime series ThunderCats is being remade by Studio 4°C for Warner Bros. In the original series from 1985-1990, a pack of aliens have fled their home planet Thundera at its destruction. Their enemies, mutants from the planet Plun-Darr, track them to Third Earth in hopes of acquiring the Eye of Thundera, a power source embedded in Lion-O's Sword of Omens.
