The TV anime series Natsume Yuujinchou San - the third anime season in the franchise - is once again created by studio Brains Base, based on Yuki Midorikawa's ghost-story manga about a boy who can see ghosts, and some "Book of Friends" inherited from his grandmother to trap said ghosts. As one ghost after another shows up, the boy Natsume tries to release or help them - even while many of them seek vengeance on him.
