The anime project Install is created, written and directed by Yoshinobu Sena, as a joint project between studios Anipicture and Asahi Production. The story centers around a young man named Chikage Kamiyashiro with "Install" - the power to control the 108 divine seals known as "In" which were stolen from the gods. Mahiru (Rena Tsuzuki) is Chikage's childhood friend who also gets caught up in the ensuing battles in their hometown of Takaamahara (based on ANN synopsis). The anime's 12-minute pilot film premiered online in July 2011.
