The anime film 009 Re:Cyborg is co-created by Production I.G and and SANZIGEN Animation Studio, with director Kenji Kamiyama (Eden of the East, Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C.), based on Shotaro Ishinomori's classic sci-fi manga Cyborg 009. In the original manga, the secret Black Ghost organization transforms nine unsuspecting humans into cyborgs.
