The anime film Star Driver the Movie follows the 2010 TV anime series created by studio Bones as an original mecha work. The movie is a "new construction" of the Star Driver: Kagayaki no Takuto story that revolves around the fates of Takuto, Wako, and Sugata. It also features an all-new segment about their lives after the story of the TV series.
