The TV anime special series Nekomonogatari (Black) is created by studio Shaft, based on NisiOisin's novel of the same title - which covers the "Tsubasa Family" story. The events are set between Kizumonogatari and Bakemonogatari, with a focus on the character Tsubasa Hanekawa.
