The TV anime series Spice and Wolf (Ookami to Koushinryou) is based on a fantasy light novel series about Horo, a furry wolf-girl that pops up in a merchant's wagon one night. She begins traveling with him, and her wisdom helps increase his profits. But her true nature draws unwanted attention from the church.
