The TV anime series Skip Beat! was adapted by studio Hal Film Maker, based on a shoujo comedy / romance manga originally by Yoshiki Nakamura. The story follows the 16-year-old girl Kyoko, who discovers that her childhood friend and romantic goal, Sho Fuwa, only keeps her around to act as a maid and earn his living expenses, as he works his way to become the top pop idol in Japan. Is there any news of a season 2 of Skip Beat coming out. There's rumors of October of this yr, but I think the date got mixed up with 2008/2009.

Haven't heard a peep about a 2nd season. But Anime Expo is just around the corner, maybe that'll bring some announcement.
