Dante's Inferno: An Animated Epic is a collection of 6 animation shorts, each running for about 10 minutes, and each one created by a different studio - some from Japan (Production I.G, Manglobe), some from Korea (Dongwoo Animation). The whole charade is being run by Electronic Arts and Film Roman, a subsidiary of Starz Media, and it's based on EA's blasphemy of a game Dante's Inferno. Far from being a faithful interpretation of Dante Alighieri's classic poem "Divine Comedy", the game looks like a brainless wipefest, defiling the original work in every possible way - and this anime adaptation seems to make no effort in avoiding that same path.
