The TV anime series Spice and Wolf (Ookami to Koushinryou) is based on a fantasy light novel series about Horo, a furry wolf-girl that pops up in a merchant's wagon one night. She begins traveling with him, and her wisdom helps increase his profits. But her true nature draws unwanted attention from the church. This "Act 0" OVA was squeezed between the TV anime's first two seasons.
