The TV anime series Psychic Detective Yakumo (Shinrei Tantei Yakumo) is adapted by studio Bee Train, based on Manabu Kaminaga's light novel series about a college student named Yakumo Saitou, who was born with different eye colors. With his red left eye, he can see ghosts and spirits - an ability which he uses as a gift to solve murder cases. He believes ghosts and spirits are bound to earth because of a certain "cause", and only by eliminating that "cause" will those spirits rest in peace. Being asked for help by fellow female student Haruka Ozawa, whose friend is possessed by a ghost, together they begin the investigation. (based on Gigazine synopsis)
