The anime project Code Geass: Boukoku no Akito (Akito the Exiled) is created by studio Sunrise, with a side-story set in a.t.b.2017, on the European warfront. A Knightmare unit made of boys and girls from Area 11 (formerly Japan) are thrown into a military operation with a 5% chance of survival. They must rescue an allied unit left behind on the European warfront. (based on ANN synopsis)

I looked around the webs, and I'm not so sure about that release date of January 27 anymore... But either way, since it's an OVA releasing for home video, you probably won't be able to watch it online - not legally anyway.

It hasn't actually been released on the 27th, and the official website doesn't seem to give any specific release date. So just a vague "2012" for now...

Looks like I've been missing out on quite a few Code Geass news lately, so here are some quick database updates:

- Code Geass: Boukoku no Akito (OVA?) - premieres in Summer 2012

- Code Geass: Nunnally in Wonderland (OVA) - releases on July 27, 2012

- Code Geass Movie - an anime film project that will adapt the Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion story

lelouch's second eye came before he killed his father. It just means his geass is mature to take on code. When his father chokes him in C's world LELOUCH orders him in the last second to begone, which kills him and transfers the code to lelouch as he is mature enough with geass to kill one with code. Lelouch has geass from CC and code from Charles (who got it from VV). His code activated when suzaku stabs him. Just like how charles activated his code when he shot himself. Making him immortal and retaining his geass.
