The TV anime series SD Gundam Sangokuden: Brave Battle Warriors follows in the footsteps of the same year's anime film, by adapting Bandai's BB Senshi Sangokuden plastic models and manga - which re-imagines the Super Deformed Gundam mobile suit robots as characters in the classic Chinese novel "Sangokushi" ("Romance of the Three Kingdoms").
