Hyakka Ryouran: Samurai Girls

Also known as:  Hyakka Ryouran, Samurai Girls, The Riot of Flowers: Samurai Girls
Release date:
The TV anime series Hyakka Ryouran: Samurai Girls is adapted by studio ARMS, based on a light novel series by Akira Suzuki. This multimedia franchise also includes various other products (manga, web comics, figurines), and marks Hobby Japan's 40th anniversary. The story is set in the early 21st century - except in this alternate world, the Tokugawa shogunate never lost power and Japan maintained its enforced seclusion from the rest of the world. The 25th shogun assumed the mantle of Japan's leadership 20 years ago, and the student council enforces the suppression of rebellious elements at a giant academy for children of military families at the foot of Mt. Fuji. The girls Yukimura Sanada and Matabei Gotou battle the mostly female members of the ruling student council faction such as Sen Tokugawa ("Sen-hime"), Hanzou Hattori, and others. A 16-year-old male student named Muneakira Yagyuu and a female Juubei Yagyuu are caught in the middle. (based on ANN synopsis)

Checked a couple of official websites, but no new info, other than "2010". I did however stumble upon some eye candy, enough to crack open a local gallery ;)

It's their family name, and I think the two "Yagyuus" are the main characters.

Can't wait til the rest of the episodes get released and subbed! The ink blots and dark outlines just make this anime more epic in my oppinion. I give it 5 ink blots out of 5.
