The anime project Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt is being created by a team from studio Gainax that reunites several Gurren Lagann veterans. The story follows two angels kicking ass on Earth. One of them is a teen-celebrity-like blond-haired girl named Panty, and the other one a black-haired goth loli girl named Stocking. The two are angels sent from the heavens to battle the "Ghosts" on Earth. Except that they're actually creating more problems than they solve.
