Fate/Extra is a dungeon crawler RPG set in the Fate/stay night universe. Developed by the Japanese studio Imageepoch (of Luminous Arc fame) under Type-Moon's watchful eye, the game was released on the PSP by publishers Marvelous Entertainment (in Japan) and Aksys Games (in North America). The game is an alternate remake of Fate/stay night, but has an updated plot, different gameplay features, different character designs (especially for Saber and Caster), and appearances of all characters from Fate/stay night and Fate/Zero with the exception of Shirou Emiya, while introducing some exclusive new characters.
