Valkyria Chronicles II, also known as Battlefield Valkyria 2: Gallian Royal Military Academy in Japan, is the pseudo-sequel to the 2008 game Valkyria Chronicles, this time developed for the PSP handheld. The original game was released by Sega for the PS3 as an action-RPG (with some strategy elements) set in a World War-like scenario, but with a distinctive anime look to it. Set two years after the onset of the Second Europan War, the game's story focuses on a military academy cadet school as they seek to prevent an ethnic cleansing campaign by a ruthless rebel group.
