Valkyria Chronicles 3: Unrecorded Chronicles continues Sega's series of action-RPGs (with some strategy elements) that began in 2008 with a PS3 game, followed in 2010 by a pseudo-sequel for the PSP handheld. This third game was expected to steer the series back onto the PS3, but instead it was only announced for the PSP. The game's setting is similar to the original's - a war-torn Gallia from an alternate history Europe in 1935 - but it tells a different story, about the Gallian Army squad 422, also known as the Nameless (since all its members are referred to by number, rather than by name).
