Vanguard Princess, Free 2D Moe Fighting Game

A free doujin fighting game with screaming 2D chicks and escorting lolis? Don't mind if I do! This free, delightful, ass-kicking (and did I say free?) serving comes from a certain Sugeno Tomoaki, who is said to be a former Capcom deveveloper. The dude worked with some sort of "2D Combat Game Maker" engine, and it took him three years and a half to finish making Vanguard Princess, as he baptised this game. In it, you can choose between 10 anime-styled chicks, plus a sidekick loli from 4 others available, unleashing their combos in 2-vs-2 matches.



Ex-Capcom or not, this guy definitely knows his thing. And he recently proved it, by releasing Vanguard Princess as a free download. Cheers to Zepy for bringing it to our attention, and to his readers for providing some useful tips & tricks on how to make it run, if you're having any problems with it. Additionally, Gigazine's advice is that "the game should be played with one joysticks [sic] and four buttons. Keyboard operation is also available but it seems better using proper game pads". They also provided the screenshots you see above and below, with a list of commands for the 10 controllable characters at the very bottom.
