Junichi Sato, the director of such chicks-filled anime titles as
Aria,
Umi Monogatari, Kaleido Star and Princess Tutu, among many others, was recently
linked to a new anime project called
Tamayura. Described as Sato's
"third "healing anime"", this one is being produced by studio Hal Film Maker as an OVA, and currently it's planned for a 2010 release.

Before you ask - nope, it's not based on the Tamayura eroge series created by Akabei Soft2 (of
The Devil on G-string fame) back in 2005. And fortunately it's also not based on another, completely different eroge called Tamayura from 2006 (and when I say completely different, I mean fracking yaoi). So for once, "OVA" really does stand for
original video animation.
The only thing that transpired about the OVA's story is its heroine - Fuu Sawatari, a girl who lives in a waterside town near the Seto Inland Sea and likes photography. Other than that, well, nothing yet. It will probably be a slice-of-life thingie, so adjust your eagerness to see it accordingly.
