Sharin no Kuni Eroge English Patch Released

A few days ago, the folks from TLWiki have scratched another title from their ambitious list of eroge and other puni-puni games that they intend to translate into English. Their newly completed project is Sharin no Kuni, Himawari no Shoujo (Wheel Country, Sunflower Girl), an eroge released by the Japanese developer Akabei Soft2 back in 2005, which apparently was "totally awesome for scenario game lovers". Time to put those words to the test.



The translation comes in the form of a 5 MB patch which you can download from here, and obviously you'll need to have the actual game in the first place. The patch does include a no-DVD version of the .exe file, but like the authors write, this is only "for your convenience", and not meant to be abused.

"Sharin no Kuni, Himawari no Shoujo (Wheel Country, Sunflower Girl) follows the trials of Morita Kenichi, Special High Class Individual cadet. The duty of a such an Individual: to rehabilitate those with "obligations" and reform their country into a better society as a whole. Kenichi doubts the efficiency of such a system, but works inside it to take back a past that he lost."

And as for their future projects, some noticeable titles from that list would be the Sharin no Kuni fandisk and The Devil on G-string also by Akabei Soft2, the highly popular Little Busters!, or the recent Nintendo DS hit Love Plus, among many others.

Update: I've just noticed that a PSP version of Sharin no Kuni is currently planned for release in Japan this December 4. And by the looks of it (risky-for-work link), ero content will actually be included.
