Out of the
many-many titles announced by D.C. ~Da Capo~ developer Circus last autumn, two are making the headlines today. One is the upcoming portable game
D.C. I & II P.S.P., whose fresh official
website announces (via
ANN) an October 28, 2010 release in Japan, and the immediate opening of pre-orders for the game's Platinum Pack limited edition.

The second title is a
new D.C.: Da Capo OVA, which will be included in the aforementioned PSP game's Platinum Pack - currently limited to 5,000 sets. The OVA will be available on both Blu-ray and DVD, and said package will also bundle various other goodies, from video extras and an art book, to waterproof "bathing-together" posters featuring all 27 characters from this new PSP game.
One question that lingers, though, is whether this bundled OVA is the same one that was announced back in February, as a "magical girl" spin-off anime focusing on the Sakura Yoshino character from the original game... Well, we'll see, but for now we're treating it as one and the same project.
As this double-remake's
cover image implies, the two original games' hroines will all join hands in their attempt to give PSP players the best possible satisfaction. Pictured on the cover are only Asakura Nemu from the first
Da Capo game, and Asakura Yume from
Da Capo II. But as the official website's
characters page shows, a couple more dozen lolis will also join in on the fun.
