Black Rock Shooter OVA Pushed Back To July

Just a quick update from the Black Rock Shooter anime's official website today, in which the producers apologize for delaying the OVA's release with another month. So instead of June 25, the release is now set for July 24 - at which time the Monthly Hobby Japan magazine will be the first one to bundle the anime's DVD with its August issue.



A few other magazines will also bundle the DVD soon after that, and until further notice, plans are still in place for the complete 50-minute OVA to be streamed for free, at least in Japan; but hopefully eslewhere as well.

The Black Rock Shooter pilot animation is still available for local viewing, if you haven't seen it yet. And as much as I'd like to give you a big, juicy gallery update (the fanarts for this one are insane!), I fear that high-priority drinking duty calls... Some other time, eh?
