What a glorious way to end a working week, with the announcement of a new anime project based on one of the hottest-looking eroge from the past couple of years. One heavily fixated on a twin loli, to share your brotherly love with... The game in question is
Yosuga no Sora, originally released by Sphere (a little-sister brand of Cuffs) at the end of 2008, and later enriched with a fan disc called
Haruka na Sora.

The anime adaptation's announcement is as official as they get, thanks to the first volume of the Yosuga no Sora manga, whose wraparound
jacket carries the ecstatic news (via
ANN). The manga series, likewise based on Sphere's eroge, is authored by Takashi Mikaze and has been serialized in the Monthly Comp Ace magazine since August 2009.
More information about the
"Yosusora" anime should surface from the same magazine in a future issue, so for now I'll leave you to enjoy the game's abundant local
gallery and
trailers, along with the following synopsis provided by ANN.
The story of the game is set in the distant mountain village of Okukozome-chou. Haruka Kazugano and his twin sister Sora have fond childhood memories of going to the village to visit their grandfather during their summer vacations. However, after losing their parents in an accident, the two must move in with their grandfather.
The twins get reacquainted with their old childhood friend Nao Yorihime, their new classmate Ryouhei Nakazato, the miko (shrine maiden) Akira Amatsume, and Akira's friend Kazuha Migawa. All seems peaceful and familiar. However, beneath the surface is a secret promise that the twins made with each other long ago, the whereabouts of an important lost item, and the real reason they chose to come back here."
