Lilpri Anime Simulcasts On Crunchyroll

Again with some delay, compared to their usual "day-one" streams, Crunchyroll announced that they will begin simulcasting the ongoing magical-girls anime series Lilpri (Little Princess), officially known as Hime Chen! Otogi Chikku Idol Lilpri. TMS Entertainment is adapting it based on some trading card game, and it's been airing in Japan since April 4.



Starting with this week's episode 9, CR is streaming each episode one hour after its nipponic premiere, in HD, for premium subscribers. Like with their other shows, the free streaming in standard definition and with advertisements will follow one week later. The countries covered by CR's license for Lilpri are the United States, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, Central and South America, the United Kingdom, Ireland, the Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa.

"Strange phenomena have been reported in Wonderland. In fact the Wonderland is on the verge of extinction. The only way to avoid this crisis is to collect "Happiness Stone", which only exist in human heart, and the only ones who have the ability to collect them are the legendary "Princesses". The queen of the Wonderland orders her "Ma(gic)Pets" to find three human girls who have the potential to become the Princesses. After sent to the human world, MaPets encounter three girls at the concert of the popular idol group, Wish. Indeed, they were the girls who were to become the Princesses."
