They've done it this time! The long-running TV anime series
Bleach - just about the only other huge anime that's been missing from Crunchyroll - is no longer absent from their strong
lineup. For, last night, they announced that Bleach will be simulcasting on CR one hour after first airing in Japan on TV Tokyo, starting with episode 274 this June 8.

Several backlist episodes will also become available at that time, namely the latest story arc that began with
episodes 266-273. As usual,
premium subscribers will have the honor of watching each episode in HD from day one (at 02:30 PST every Tuesday), while everyone else will have to wait one week for each new episode before they can stream it in standard definition with ads.
The countries covered by CR's license for Bleach are the United States, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, Central and South America, the United Kingdom, Ireland, the Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa. And as a final detail worth mentioning, last night's press release points out that
"the title will continue to be subtitled by North American licensor Viz Media".
Update: CR's streaming of Bleach has begun as planned, so from now on you'll also find it in our
episodes section.
