Remember those 3 anime specials based on the
Inuyasha,
Ranma 1/2 and
Urusei Yatsura classics? You konw, the ones first shown at that "It's a Rumic World" exhibition from December 2008?... Ah, who am I kidding! There must be like five people outside of Japan who got a chance to see them (and I sure as hell ain't one of them). So, with some curiosity, we can now look forward to their re-release this October 20 - and not only on DVD, but for the first time also on Blu-ray.

These 30-minute anime specials are Inuyasha: Kuroi Tetsusaiga (Black Tetsusaiga), Ranma 1/2: Okumu! Shunmin Kou (Nightmare! Incense of Deep Sleep) and Urusei Yatsura: Shougaibutsu Suieitaikai (Obstacle Course Swim Meet). Each of them will be re-released individually in the upcoming Blu-ray and DVD versions, at a price of 4,725 yen ($56) and 3,675 yen ($44) respectively.
You can watch a preview of them in this
Rumic World trailer that was just added locally (though otherwise it's a bit old). It was taken from the collection's official
website, thanks to
AnimeNation's tip.
