.hack//Quantum OVA Bundles CG Anime Shorts

So we're finally finding out what's become of that .hack//Link CG anime project announced one year ago. As it turns out, it won't be a stand-alone release, but rather a bundle with the first two volumes of the upcoming OVA .hack//Quantum. The first (and only?) two CG anime shorts will thus be out early next year, in January 28 and February 25, respectively. And the third, CG-less volume of .hack//Quantum is set for a March 25, 2011 release in Japan.



Above are some tiny thumbs from the first episode of .hack//Quantum, as displayed on the OVA's official website. This first volume will also enjoy an early limited edition release at Bandai Visual's "Anime Fes. 'VS'" event screenings, this November 17. Similarly, the second volume's limited edition will make its early debut at the second round of "Anime Fes. 'VS'" screenings this December.
