Upon digging a bit deeper for some loli news, I may have found something worth reporting today, after all. Or actually it was
UK Anime Network who spotted this interesting detail about the upcoming Blu-ray and DVD release of
Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha The Movie 1st. According to the official Nanoha
website, the anime film's home video release in Japan will include English subtitles.

Both the Blu-ray and DVD version will be released there on November 26, 2010. This first anime film in the Nanoha franchise initially premiered in Japanese theaters back in January, as a remake of the original 13-episode TV series with entirely new, high-quality animation created by studio Seven Arcs.
With this, well-funded importers have yet another potential Christmas present to consider, along with the
other Blu-ray releases of anime films mentioned here a couple of days ago - most, if not all of which, with English subtitles included, as well.
Looks like Japanese producers are really embracing the idea of reaching the overseas market, without waiting for some lazy licensor who might go bankrupt before it gets a single Blu-ray out, anyway. Easy money, with such little effort as adding an extra subtitles track. Good for us. And ultimately good for them.
