The "10 Biggest Announcements of ufotable 2010" campaign continues this weekend with the revealing of two new anime projects - one of them being this here
Yuri Seijin Naoko-san OVA adaptation, based on a surreal gag comedy manga authored by kashmir. The news comes from the Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh magazine (
scan, via
ANN), which has been serializing said manga since 2005.

Studio ufotable's OVA will be released this December 10, as a bundle with the manga's limited edition Volume 3. The previous two
volumes were compiled in 2006 and 2008, and their limited editions included a few songs created by the musical group MOSAIC.WAV for a hypothetical anime version - which, as it turns out now, is not so hypothetical, after all.
The original manga's story follows a timid girl named Misuzu, whose older sister Naoko is returning from studying aboard. However, when she hurries home to meet her sister, Misuzu instead encounters Naoko-san, the strange alien from Yuri-sei (Yuri Planet) who is obsessed with
yuri (lesbianism) and little girls, and is plotting to conquer the Earth by "yuri-nization".
Yuri Seijin Naoko-san's official
website is offering a few
sample pages from the manga, so you can get an idea of what to expect in the anime. Sure looks like fun. And speaking of fun, ufotable's previous anime
announced a couple of weeks ago was
Minori Scramble!. And the second one revealed this weekend is something called
Anime Tenchou x Touhou Project - local story about it
coming up soon... is up.
P.S. A local
Yuri Seijin Naoko-san gallery is also up, albeit not too plentiful at this point.
