At least two of the most solid surveys aimed at determining the most anticipated TV anime from the newly begun winter 2011 season - one conducted by
ANN and one by
Dengeki - have made it clear that both Western and Japanese fan(girl)s were equally excited about
Kimi ni Todoke's 2nd season. The new series began airing in Japan today, after first being
hinted back in September, shortly before the
live-action movie's premiere that same month.

Since then, a new DS game titled
Kimi ni Todoke: Tsutaeru Kimochi ("Conveyed Feelings") has also been
announced. Like the previous one from 2009, this, too, is coming from Banpresto for the Nintendo DS handheld, sometime in spring 2011. Its official
website is still pretty barren, however.
Judging by the length of Karuho Shiina's manga that spaned this whole shoujo madness (12 compiled volumes and counting), the franchise will likely keep going on, and on. And on. For now, though, you might want to stick around for a
Kimi ni Todoke gallery update -
I'll get right on it now done.
