Checkpoint: Gundam UC 3, Inazuma 11, Inuyasha

As compensation for the recent delay of its Blu-ray and DVD release (which is now set for April 7, 2011), the 3rd episode of Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn - titled "The Ghost of Laplace" - is now revealing a bit more of itself through a new trailer. Or if you prefer the English fail-dub version, suit yourself... And also added locally today is the previous trailer previewing Gundam UC's episode 3 in HD.




The you-can-call-it-soccer-but-it's-still-football anime series Inazuma Eleven will continue airing into the next season past March 2011, but during a slightly changed timeslot. As a sidenote, the Inazuma 11 anime film premiered in Japan last month, on December 23.


The final installment of the Inuyasha manga - volume 56 - is being released in North America this January 11, by Viz Media. Quoting from the press release:

"In the climactic showdown, the demon Naraku's true intentions are finally revealed! Then, Kagome is swallowed up by the Meido. Is she finally beyond her friends' reach? And will the final battle over the Shikon Jewel draw Inuyasha and Kagome together... or pull them apart forever?! Find out in the exciting concluding volume!"

Update: Oh, right, we also had 3 new anime series starting today! Two of them are streaming on Crunchyroll since last night, but unfortunately they're not up for embedding, so it seems we won't be having them here on Animekon. Ah well, CR links included just as well in the list below, along with the other local goodies.




Update #2: Habemus loli! With the Animekon website more-or-less back on track, it's time to update our loli of the month with one of this season's most recognizable ones: Victorique, of Gosick fame (or soon-to-be fame). Along with a complementary update to the anime's local gallery, a few other titles have also received an infusion of pictures today: Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica (Victorique's top contender!), Yumekui Merry, Fractale and - for those of you who don't subscribe to the flat-chested ideology - Freezing.
