FLCL Free Episode Before Blu-ray Release

FUNimation will be releasing the mind-bending anime FLCL on Blu-ray (and DVD) this February 22, but before they do so, they are currently offering the OVA's first episode as a free download from iTunes. Though, alas, for "U.S. only". The complete anime has also received an early release on iTunes already, priced at $14.95 for the HD version, and $9.95 for the SD version.



Considering that even 'years ago, when I was watching FLCL for the fifth or sixth time, I was still noticing new "things" in it, I wonder what impression it would give off now... And let's not forget that the type of beverage consumed at the time of watching should also be factored in! So... a FLCL x Guinness session with ample amounts of The Pillows on the side? Yummy, I should totally give it a try one of these days.
