Checkpoint: Accel, Strike Witches, Tiger & Bunny

Aside from the upcoming Accel World TV anime series that's starting this April, another new media branching based on Reki Kawahara's light novels was announced by Namco Bandai. You guessed: an Two Accel World games! Strategies, it would appear, currently in development for the PlayStation 3 and PSP. Since details are non-existant at this time, we'll just have to do with a gallery update featuring the "future teen" story's sweet Kuroyukihime.




In other gaming news, Strike Witches: Shirogane no Tsubasa - that Xbox 360 side-scrolling shooter from 2010 - is getting a PSP version, according to this week's Dengeki PlayStation magazine (via Andriasang). "The magazine reports that the PSP version will include all the Xbox 360 version's download content. CyberFront will also release a limited edition which comes with a Nendoroid figure of the Lynette character in a bathing suit." No release date yet, but this reminds me - the Strike Witches Movie is premiering in Japan on March 17.

The first of the two planned Tiger & Bunny movies will premiere in Japan this September, an updated official website points out today.




The upcoming TV anime series Haiyoru! Nyaruko-san is now slated for April. Wait... Didn't we know this already? Ah, well, loli Cthulhu god made of epic terror is worth the *bump*!
