Namco Bandai is planning a
Bakemonogatari Portable game for the PSP, as
revealed today in the Dengeki PlayStation magazine. The game will obviously be based on NisiOisiN's supernatural comedy novels that also inspired the 2009 TV anime series
Bakemonogatari. It will
feature 3D characters, recreations of scenes from the anime, and two player support via ad-hoc, with its genre currently listed as "Under Investigation"...

The latest addition to the
Amagami franchise will be a PC game titled Amagami GS (Gian-ism Special), releasing in Japan this March 30 as a
bundle with the second volume of Enterbrain's Gian-ism magazine (a Tech Gian "spinoff magazine"). As a reminder, one week ago it was also
announced that the ongoing TV anime series
Amagami SS Plus will have an "Onsen" OVA episode... in October 2012.

The upcoming PS3 / Xbox 360 visual novel
Robotics;Notes has received a release date set for June 28, 2012, quite a bit later than its previously planned "Spring 2012" release. The official
website carrying the news is also the source of the latest
artwork added today to the game's local
gallery. This will be the third entry in the "augmented science adventure" series made by 5pb. and Nitroplus, following
Chaos;Head (2008) and
Steins;Gate (2009).

With Asura's Wrath releasing today in North America for the PS3 and Xbox 360, we get not only the mandatory
launch trailer, but also a
report saying that the anime company Studio 4°C is producing animations for the game's first two DLC packs: "Episode 11.5: Ano Chikara wa Mazui" (That Power is Terrible) and "Episode 15.5 Aonisai" (The Novice). Asura's Wrath is releasing in Europe this February 24, and in the UK on March 9.
The PlayStation Vita version of
Street Fighter X Tekken will not be released this March 6, alongside the game's core editions for the PS3 and Xbox 360. Instead, Capcom now
plans to release the PS Vita version in Fall 2012, but with the added benefit of featuring 12 additional characters.
And for one last piece of interesting gaming
news, the Nintendo 3DS handheld has become the fastest gaming system to sell 5 million units in Japan, in just 52 weeks - that's one year, spot on! This, compared to 56 weeks for the original Nintendo DS, and 58 weeks for the Game Boy Advance. Omedetou!
