Another Episode 0 Dated, Live-Action Teaser

Some good stuff today for fans of Another, as well. Earlier in the day, a teaser trailer for the upcoming live-action film adaptation was posted around here somewhere, giving fans an intriguing glimpse, ahead of the movie's August 4 premiere in Japan. Like the ongoing TV anime, the live-action Another film is based on Yukito Ayatsuji's school horror mystery novel.



And now comes word that the upcoming OVA Another Episode 0 has received a firm release date, set for May 26. That's according to the anime's official website, which was also updated with several other goodies. The OVA will be bundled with the "0th" limited-edition volume of Hiro Kiyohara's manga adaptation of the original novel.

Below you can see a few thumbs from this special episode, which will depict a part of the story that is not in the original novel - namely that of the character Mei Misaki, leading up to the main anime series. The OVA is also being previewed in a short trailer - likewise posted here today (though this one is a couple of days old).
