The ongoing TV anime series
Sket Dance has been
confirmed to continue into its 2nd year of airing this April, according to Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. The tsundere girl Saaya Agata and Koma Morishita - two popular characters from Kenta Shinohara's original school comedy manga - will debut in the anime's second year.

The upcoming
Lupin III TV anime series might not be so upcoming, after all. Although a "new television series premiering in April" was
hinted a couple of days ago, the
website carrying the announcement has just been revised, and now it only mentions a "new work" - no anime, no April, no nothing... But we'll see...

The 35th
Japan Academy Prize Awarding Ceremony, a.k.a. the "Japanese Oscars", were held yesterday. And, much to the
outrage of moeblob fans, the
K-ON! Movie lost the "most excellent" prize for Best Animated Feature to
Kokuriko-Zaka Kara (From Up On Poppy Hill) - this year's winner in the category. As for the other categories, you can find the most notable winners over on
CR.
