With four more sets of airing dates announced over this weekend, the
April 2012 anime season is now oh-so-close to being fully scheduled. Starting with the cutest anime from this latest batch,
Acchi Kocchi is now set for an April 5 debut, according to its official
website. A few more character profiles have also been posted there, and mirrored in the local
gallery.

The most anticipated anime from this batch, however, is probably
Hyouka, the new mystery / school series created by fan-favorite studio Kyoto Animation. One of its official
websites is now listing it for an April 22 debut.

Then there's
Kimi to Boku. 2, now revealed to start airing from April 2. Its official website is also streaming a
commercial for this second season, although without any actual footage, so I won't bother recording it for local safekeeping.

And last (certainly least, too) for this checkpoint,
Beyblade Zero-G - the 7th TV anime series in the Metal Fight Beyblade franchise - starts on
April 22 April 8. It's once again based on the Beyblade spinning-top game franchise, but this time featuring a new main character named... Ah, forget it, who the hell cares, anyway?
Update: Not so fast! Here's one more:
Shimajirou no Wow!, starts on April 2 according to AniDB's
listing.
So it doesn't seem to be titled Shimajirou no Wow!, as previously announced. (strike that, I had mixed things up...) But either way, another anime that's going straight to my "Ignore Bin".
Update #2: Also added the second season of
Recorder to Randsell to the Spring 2012 line-up as a new title -
Recorder to Randsell Re - since AniDB saw fit to separate it from the ongoing first season. "Re♪" begins on April 6, by the way.
