Kuttsukiboshi OVA's Part 2 Trailer Reveals Date

Yatta~! At long last, after much delay and shrivelling hope of ever seeing the Kuttsukiboshi OVA's second episode, anymore, good news has arrived! Thanks to an updated official website and a newly revealed trailer, studio Primastea has finally set the release date of this yuri OVA's "Part II" DVD for May 11, 2012 in Japan.



The first half of this delicious, tear-jerking anime was released back in August 2010, with the promise of a second part in Summer 2011 - which came and went without any kind of update on its release, until now. The OVA is directed, written and animated by Naoya Ishikawa (Binchou-tan, Docchimo Maid), with music by Shunsuke Morita, and centers around two girls' "risky" summer vacation together, yuri style.

As for Primastea, in case the studio's name rings a bell, its' because of their two earlier OVAs from 2009 and 2010: Isshoni Training and Isshoni Sleeping. Yep, with Hinako.

P.S. Ahead of the second episode's DVD release on May 11, both Kuttsukiboshi episodes will be screened at the Shibuya Auditorium theater, between April 21-27.
