Chitose Get You!! Manga Gets Anime

An anime adaptation of an unspecified format, based on Etsuya Mashima's 4-panel slice-of-life comedy manga Chitose Get You!!, is being announced this week in the May issue of Takeshobo's Manga Life MOMO magazine. CR is guessing that the anime will be a series of 5-minute shorts.



The manga was launched in 2002, and its latest, 7th volume was released in September 2010. The story follows an energetic 11-year-old school girl named Chitose Sakuraba. She is madly in childish-love with Hiroshi, an older guy who works at the town hall next to her school. Chitose spends every day relentlessly pursuing him. But can she ever convince Hiroshi to go out with her?
