This Friday, March 30, the Noitamina
website should officially reveal the second anime that will be aired during its popular late-night programming block from July, alongside the recently announced
anime sequel Moyashimon Returns
. The website's coders, however, may have let the cat out of the bag a bit early, by leaving the "rendezvous" name in the source code, as an ID for the "mystery" anime's cell on the page.
This tiny slip gives a ton of weight to a recent rumor
that's been flying around the Japanese forums, claiming that the TV anime in question will be an adaptation of Haruka Kawachi's josei manga Natsuyuki Rendez-vous
. Furthermore, running a "whois" search for the "www.natsuyuki.tv" domain (registered this March 15, but currently inactive) returns some info that matches other past Noitamina series, such as Un-Go
So I guess it's just a matter of time, before I can update this story with the official confirmation, later today (technically, it's Friday around here already).
The Natsuyuki Rendez-vous manga currently has 3 compiled volumes, with the 4th one releasing in Japan this April 7. A going-away party soon brings him to her doorstep, and Hazuki is elated. But what happens when he discovers that, still residing in her apartment, is the ghost of the husband she can never forget?
