The new Junjou Romantica anime project that was announced earlier this week turns out to be a 20-minute OVA. Kadokawa's Asuka Ciel magazine writes that the OVA is planned as a DVD bundle with the 16th volume of Shungiku Nakamura's boys-love manga, in celebration of the series' 10th anniversary. The OVA will feature all three main couples from the manga: Junjo Romantica, Junjou Egoist, and Junjou Terrorist.

Dan Mazeau, the screenwriter of Wrath of the Titans who was recently tasked with the script for the upcoming Bleach live-action movie, talked to IFC about his upcoming projects. He is "currently working on "Bleach" and the idea is to set it in Japan and really be respectful to the source material" - as opposed to... say... the live-action Dragonball Z movie, which he also mentioned in the interview as a failed "noble effort".

The Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate (Koichoco) trailer that's currently being shown at Anime Contents Expo (ACE) - see the shaky-cam version below - has revealed that this eroge-based TV anime series will start airing in July 2012. The anime is created by studio AIC Build, based on the debut eroge developed by sprite and originally released for the PC in 2008 (a PSP port follows later this year), also known as Love, Election and Chocolate.
