My Anime Contents Expo can't be this cute! And yet it is (well, not mine, but definitely cute). The good news just kept on rolling today, with the announcement of a 2nd Oreimo anime
season - no fooling! Following the revelation made by the anime's cast at an ACE 2012 stage event, the official website
also confirmed that a second TV anime series is indeed in the making, complete with this delicious key visual
More details about Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai Dai 2-ki - if you care for the new anime's full title - were promised for tomorrow, April 2, to be revealed by Akiba Blog
(they seem to have a knack for Oreimo exclusives).
The first Oreimo
anime, created by studio AIC Build, aired from October 2010, and last year it was followed by a PSP game
adaptation - a visual novel, more or less. The franchise was spawned by a comedy light novel series by Tsukasa Fushimi.
The original story follows the 17-year-old high school boy Kyousuke Kousaka, and his cute and popular younger sister Kirino, aged 14. The two haven't been getting along in years, until one day Kyousuke discovers that his sister is not only an otaku, but even a fan of adult games - when he finds such a game called Imoto to Koishiyo! (Love with Little Sister!) hidden inside an innocent-looking anime DVD box, which Kirino had dropped by mistake.
