Persona 4 has been making the news lately, on both its anime and gaming fronts. Anime wise, the official
website for the TV anime series
Persona 4 The Animation has announced that a 90-minutes-long compilation movie subtitled
The Factor of Hope will premiere in ten Japanese theaters this June 9.

The anime film will recap the 25-episode TV anime series that aired between October 2011 and March 2012, but it will conclude with the unaired
"True End Episode", which will later be bundled with the TV anime's 10th Blu-ray & DVD volume (out in Japan on August 22). Additionally, "The Factor of Hope" movie will also include some all-new cuts of footage.
Over on the gaming front, the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 version of the crossover fighting game
Persona 4: The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena will be released
one week earlier than
previously planned. So instead of August 2, it will be out in Japan on July 26. For now, its North American release is still expected for August 2012.
And finally,
Persona 4: The Golden's opening animation - created by studio Madhouse - was offered online not long ago. The game itself is releasing in Japan for the PS Vita handheld this June 14. The North American release should follow in Fall 2012.
